Beth and Matt met us at Cafe Brauer in Lincoln Park. Beautiful day, great couple, lots of fun!

Courtney wanted to go to the Chicago Botanic Gardens in Glenco, IL for engagemnt photos. What a spectacular place and cool, fun couple.

Claude Monet’s home is in Giverny. Lynne’s favorite painter. As an Art student I thought this would be pretty cool until we got there. I was so overwhelmed that I could barely speak the entire time. Giverny is a 3 hour drive from Paris. On the tour bus I joked about seeing a sign that would say “Eat at McDonald’s.” As we turned off the highway at the Giverny exit, we saw the golden arch sign.

My attempt at an Impressionist photo of Monet’s home. The home has over 5 acres of gardens behind it. The ponds are across a road from the garden. This garden is the single most beautiful place in the world.

Flowers are my favorite subjects to photograph.

These ARE the Water Lilies! The hair on the back of my neck stood up the entire time we were at the pond.

Top of the Arch De Triumph!

To get to the top of the famous Arch De Triumph you can climb 13 flights of circular stairs followed by 2 flights of “regular” stairs.
