We Ventured Into Cicero For Some Real Italian Pizza. I Took A Few Photos Of The Tiny And Crammed Inside But Stopped When 3 Guys, All Named Pete Or Paul, Started Eye Balling Me. This Place Reminds Me of The Italian Grocery Stores Of My Youth. My Italian Grandmother Lived On Winchester Near Taylor Street Where Stores Like These Were Common. Little Corner Stores Like This Are Becoming Scarce. Freddy Makes Everything Homemade. Even The Italian Ice! They Serve 30 Gallons A Day And It Is Fabulous! You Walk Into This Tiny Corner Store And The Aroma Of Home Cooked Italian Food, Italian Deli and Cooking Red Sauce Are Overwhelming. Pizza, Sandwiches, Salads, Italian Meals, Gelatto, Italian Ice Are Served To Go Or Take Home. Let Them Know When You Order. The Counter Help Speaks 2 Languages, Italian And Broken English. Pretend You Understand And Gesturing Helps. Speaking Louder Does Not. We Had A Few Slices Of Pizza And Ate Outside. Normally I do Not Like To Eat At The Little Sidewalk Cafe Tables. Germs And People Stopping To Stare At My Food. The Sidewalk And Small Inside Cafe Were Very Clean. Another Trait Of A Great Italian Eatery Or Grocery Store. Nobody Stared At My Food Either! I Did Look At Every Plate Of Food I Could. The Anitpasti, Veal Dishes, Pasta, Sandwiches All Look VERY GOOD! We Wish This Place Were Closer. Highly Recommend Taking A Drive To Cicero And Enjoying A True Taste Of Italian Americana!
Incredible Pizza! Get A Slice! They Are Always Hot Because Freddy Servers A Lot Of Pizza.

Best Italian Ice In The City!

Get The Lemon Ice. There Are 15 Or So Flavors, But Get The Lemon!

Freddy’s Is On The Corner Of 16th Street And 61st Avenue In Cicero, IL. Approach From The West.

Plenty of Parking On The Street. There Are A Few “Special” Cars Parked On The Sidewalk. Drive Around The Block And Get A Space.

Very Relaxing Sidewalk Experience And Great Food
